2021 Cadet Entry Scheme Vacancy

This year, candidates can apply in two different branches when applying under the cadet entry scheme.

Do Note:

1. When you will be filling up the application of your 10+2 Btech Cadet Entry scheme, you can give the option to apply for either one branch or both branches.

2. You will be shortlisted and will be called for SSB based on your first preference. So if you opted for both but gave first preference to “Education Branch”, you will be called for the same.

If you don’t get shortlisted for the preferred branch, you would be considered for the remaining branches

So I suggest you opt for both branches while filling the form. Choosing only one and not getting shortlisted for the same, would not get you considered for other branches.

How to Apply for Indian Navy 10+2 BTech Entry (Jan 2022)?

You can apply for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme from 1st October 2021

If you are eligible from the above-stated criteria, then you can apply for the Indian navy form online with few simple steps:

1. Go to www.joinindiannavy.gov.in

2. Click Apply Online

3. Select Your Hometown State and Save

4. Create a new Account (If you already created one, simply log in)

5. Fill up your personal details, educational details, and account details.

6. After that you will need to verify your email ID and mobile number.

So you will need to check your email and an OTP message on the number you registered on the Indian Navy Website

7. After confirmation of the account, Login again to complete your application registration

Selection Procedure to Join Indian Navy 10+2 BTech Scheme

You will be called for a Direct Interview at one of the SSB centers in Bangalore/Kolkata/Bhopal/Visakhapatnam from March-June 2021.

Methods of selection:

Screening Test (On the day of Reporting at SSB)

>> Officers’ Intelligence Rating(OIR) Test.

This is a verbal and non-verbal reasoning test consisting of approximately 40 questions for which the time allotted is 22 minutes and 17 minutes respectively.

The verbal test is Analogies, Figures, classification data, visualizing Patterns, etc.

The non-verbal test is a Blood relation, Jumbled Words, One Word Substitution, etc.

>> Picture Perception Test

The candidate is allotted a time of four minutes to write a story on the picture with details.

This includes a short introduction of the situation, what is happening in present, and what may be the future course of action or outcome.

>> Description or Narration/ discussion test

The candidates will be assembled into groups and discussed with the Picture Perception with Narration.

Each candidate will make use of his time for a better and constructive outlook of discussion to present himself.
