Prerequisite to Join Indian Army MNS 2023 as MNS Officer

  • Unmarried female candidates who are unmarried/divorcee/legally separated/widow without incumbrances.
  • Date of Birth – Born between 01 October 1998 and 30 September 2006 (both days inclusive).
  • Minimum 50% Marks in all subjects (Physics, Chemistry & Biology(Botany&Zoology), including English from state or central board.
  • 12th standard & passed with a minimum 152 cm(148 cm for Gorkhas & some Northern states) height can apply for this job.

    Candidates must have passed on the first attempt.

Note:

Candidates who will be appearing for an examination for the 12th standard (this academic year) can also apply. Proof of passing the examination of the 12th standard can be submitted before joining the course.

How to Apply for MNS in Indian Army?

The registration number of the candidate, who is shortlisted for screening at a designated place based on NEET(UG) merit will be displayed at the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.

  • Marksheet of XIIth std/Final year of XIIth proof

2. Process for Application Submission

a. Register and apply at the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in

b. Register online by providing your name, cell no, email ID etc
Screened copy & other documents need to upload (as per the requirement)

c. Ensure correction and changes, if required, prior to “Submission”. No modification is all posible.

d. Bank DU(Reference number) should be kept for future reference.

e. Qualify NEET(UG) conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA)

Medical Test

  • Conducted at Service Hospital by a team of specialist doctors
  • Medically Fit means good physical health & Mental Health and free from diseases/syndrome/disability.
  • No disease/syndrome/disability of the heart & blood vessels including congenital, genetic, organic, and disorders.
  • Fitness in dental conditions.

Merit Test

The date of commission determines the date of seniority in service among all candidates who have joined the course in the same year.

A: The joining into Military Nursing Service(MNS) after 12th class is an effortless procedure as given below:

(e) Remember that admit cards will be generated only for those successfully completed their documents in time ie, 10 March 2021.

      MNS is exclusively for the nursing services of defense force to look after the nursing requirements.

      If you desire to become Doctor in defense force, you should apply for AFMC.

    • Yes, you can apply. But your GNM nursing course would not be counted. Military nursing service will only check your eligibility for 12th class and other criteria like age limit, etc. Please check the same in order to be eligible to join MNS.

    • if you qualify with minimum eligibility criteria percentage in 12th std, then you can apply. As your B pharmacy is not counted at the time of application for MNS, only the 12th score.
